Kenya Air Force ircraft Crashes During Training in Ndavaya, Kwale County

A Kenya Air Force Grob 120A aircraft has crashed during a military training flight near Mwakijembe Primary School in Ndavaya, Kwale County. The light trainer aircraft, marked with the tail number KAF 718, was carrying two KDF pilots when it encountered an emergency mid-flight.

According to an official statement by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), the aircraft experienced technical issues and went down in a bushy area not far from local residences and the school. Images from the scene show significant structural damage to the aircraft, with the fuselage and wings severely broken.

Eyewitnesses from the nearby village reported hearing a loud bang before spotting the wreckage on the ground.
