Joy as KDF Soldier and Wife Welcome Quadruplets at Eldoret Regional Hospital

Eldoret, Kenya – May 2025
A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier, Staff Sergeant Stanley Koech, and his wife Judith were joyfully discharged from the Eldoret Regional Hospital following the safe delivery of their quadruplets—three beautiful girls and one boy.

The delivery, which occurred under the close care of medical personnel at the KDF-run facility, was met with immense celebration from both the military and civilian community. The couple was surrounded by fellow service members, hospital staff, and spiritual leaders during a heartwarming farewell ceremony held at the hospital premises.

Medical professionals who attended to Judith lauded the success of the high-risk delivery, crediting teamwork, specialized maternal care, and state-of-the-art medical infrastructure at Eldoret Regional Hospital.

The couple, now blessed with a total of seven children, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the hospital staff and the KDF for the support extended throughout the pregnancy and postnatal care. “We are overwhelmed with joy and thank God for this miracle. The support from our colleagues and the medical team has been incredible,” said Staff Sgt. Koech.

The occasion also saw blessings from the KDF chaplaincy, who prayed for the health and prosperity of the babies and their family.

As the family returns home to begin this new chapter, the Kenya Defence Forces continues to showcase its commitment to the welfare of its service members through comprehensive healthcare and family support.

Congratulations to Staff Sgt. Stanley Koech and Judith on their quadruple bundle of joy!
