TOS MAJEHOVAH Postponed: Senge Helena’s Eldoret Show Rescheduled Amid Protest Fallout

By Kelvin Kibet Media | July 31, 2025
Kenyan content creator Senge Helena has officially postponed her widely anticipated TOS MAJEHOVAH event to September 13, 2025, following a series of venue-related challenges and political backlash.
Initially scheduled for August 2, 2025, at Eldoret Sports Club, the event faced cancellation after the club withdrew its approval, citing the country’s “security situation.”
Official Venue Cancellation Letter:
Quick Move to Eldoret Show Ground
Following the cancellation by Eldoret Sports Club, Senge Helena swiftly secured a new venue—Eldoret Show Ground—and announced that the event would still proceed as planned on August 2, 2025.
However, due to growing pressure from parts of the Kalenjin community, public safety concerns, and the broader political climate, the artist has now opted to postpone the event to allow for better preparation and to maintain peace.
🕊️ Protest Participation and Controversy
The controversy erupted after Senge Helena was seen participating in Gen Z-led demonstrations in Nairobi, demanding justice for Albert Ojwang, a victim of police brutality. On Facebook, she posted:
“I stand with our fallen brothers and sisters. We will all fall.”
Some community members interpreted her involvement as a betrayal to President Ruto, who hails from her region. In an interview, Senge clarified that she had traveled to Nairobi for show promotions, and joining the protest was coincidental since her friends were already involved.
📜 Official Statement: New Date Confirmed
In an official statement dated July 30, 2025, Senge Helena announced that the event will now take place on Saturday, 13th September 2025, and emphasized that her actions were driven by personal conviction, not politics.

All tickets remain valid for the new date, and a new venue announcement is expected soon.
Philanthropist Sponsors 64 Attendees
In a show of support, philanthropist Chebor Kogo had fully sponsored 64 people to attend the original event. Kogo also posted a heartfelt message of encouragement on Facebook:
“Senge Helena, I wish to express my profound support as you encounter another event postponement, which is in no way attributable to a lack of talent or commitment on your part, but rather the disparate views prevalent in our community. Your outstanding talent and unwavering dedication will facilitate a triumphant comeback. You are capable and you gat this!”
