🔍 What Does a Security Warden at Parliament Do?

Security Wardens at the Parliament of Kenya are responsible for:

Enforcing Parliament’s security policies and procedures
Controlling access to Parliament buildings for staff, visitors, and vehicles
Operating security devices: X-ray machines, CCTV, metal detectors, bomb detectors, etc.
Managing crowds during state functions or protests
Conducting routine patrols and monitoring internal security threats
Operating and maintaining fire safety equipment
Providing first aid in emergencies
Guarding and monitoring the Integrated Security Management System (ISMS)

✅ Minimum Requirements for Security Warden Jobs in Kenya Parliament

To be eligible for direct appointment as a Security Warden, applicants must:

Have a KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of D+
Have completed paramilitary training from a recognized institution
Have served at least three years in a uniformed service (e.g., police, military, KWS, etc.)
