Job Description
As a Clerk of Works, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful supervision and delivery of construction projects in line with NHC standards and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise construction works on assigned NHC projects to ensure compliance with design and technical specifications.

Collaborate with contractors to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy construction environment in line with safety regulations.

Support scheduling, coordination of site staff, and supervision of subcontractors.

Identify and help resolve design or technical challenges on-site.
-
Coordinate and attend site meetings and provide regular updates to the Project Manager or their representative.

Maintain accurate daily records of materials used on-site.

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports as directed by the Project Manager.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or their representative.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Diploma in Building/Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related field.

Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a busy construction environment.

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

Proven ability to manage construction projects through all phases.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in English and Kiswahili (both written and spoken).
