Kenyan John Kipkemoi Charged Over 13.9kg Cocaine Bust in Sydney
Kenyan national John Kipkemoi has been charged after being found in possession of nearly 14 kilograms of cocaine during a police operation in Guildford, West Sydney, Australia.
The Arrest
Authorities from the Cumberland Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped Kipkemoi for speeding at 71 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Elizabeth Street, Guildford. The incident took place shortly before 4 PM on Wednesday. What started as a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a major drug bust after officers decided to conduct a thorough search of Kipkemoi’s Hyundai sedan.
Discovery of Cocaine and Cash
Upon searching the vehicle, law enforcement officers allegedly discovered 13.9 kilograms of cocaine, along with an undisclosed amount of cash and two mobile phones. The drugs and cash were immediately seized as part of the ongoing investigation.

Kipkemoi has been charged with supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, a serious offense under Australian law. Additionally, he faces charges related to dealing with property proceeds of crime.
