Scholarship Value and Benefits
Living allowance: AUD $43,500 per year (2025 rate)
Up to 2 years for a Master by Research
Up to 3.5 years for a Doctoral degree
Full fee offset:
Up to 2 years for a Master by Research
Up to 4 years for a Doctoral degree
Relocation grant:
$2,000 for students from other Australian states or territories
$3,000 for students relocating from overseas
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC): For international students on a student visa
Includes paid sick, maternity, and parenting leave
💰 Total value: Up to $94,200
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
Meet the entry requirements for a Master or Doctorate by Research degree
Undertake graduate research in Human Rights
Not have completed a research qualification at the same or higher level
Not have received a previous graduate research scholarship
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on:
Academic merit
Commitment to human rights, demonstrated through study, volunteer work, or professional experience
Strength of supporting documentation
