What Is NYOTA Mtaani?

NYOTA Mtaani is a government program launched by President William Ruto in partnership with the World Bank to empower youth through:

Business grants of Ksh. 50,000

Training and job placement opportunities

Skills recognition and certification

Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO)

The program targets over 820,000 young people across all 47 counties, including women, persons with disabilities, and youth in refugee camps.

Who Can Apply?

You are eligible if you are:

A Kenyan youth aged 18–29 years

A person with a disability up to 35 years old

A woman or young entrepreneur

A refugee youth in Garissa or Turkana County

Each of Kenya’s 1,450 wards will select 70 beneficiaries, making up a total of 100,000 youth who will receive Ksh. 50,000 grants.
