1. Company Secretary

Purpose of the Role
The Company Secretary will play a critical governance role, ensuring legal compliance, supporting the Board of Directors, and strengthening stakeholder relations while facilitating key corporate decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising the Board and Management on corporate governance, legal compliance, and ethical standards
- Preparing board papers, agendas, notices, resolutions, and minutes
- Coordinating Board, Committee, and Annual General Meetings in line with the Companies Act
- Maintaining statutory records and company registration documents
- Providing legal advice on administrative and industrial development matters
- Representing ELDOWAS in legal claims, disputes, and suits
- Ensuring adherence to Mwongozo Code of Governance and State Corporations Act
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution
- Post Graduate Diploma in Law (KSL)
- Member of the Law Society of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate
- Certified Public Secretary (CPS)
- Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in senior management
2. GIS Officer

Reporting to: Planning, Design & Construction Manager

Purpose of the Role
To support water and wastewater planning through GIS-based mapping, spatial data analysis, and geographic information management.
Key Responsibilities
- Mapping water reticulation systems and sewer networks using GIS
- Developing thematic and cadastral maps
- Managing GIS databases and spatial data
- Liaising with Ardhi House, surveyors, and regulatory bodies
- Producing accurate digital and hard-copy maps for decision-making
- Supporting sewer design profiles and infrastructure planning
Minimum Qualifications
