Job Summary
The MEL Officer is a key position for partner and project staff capacity building, data quality assurance, accountability, documentation, research and learning. The position holder will provide support in design, planning, and execution of monitoring and evaluation activities and deployment of technology tools to ensure quality program implementation.
Key Responsibilities:

Support in design and definition of project-level M&E processes and data requirements

Organize and lead implementation of M&E activities including assessments and surveys

Perform data quality management and routine data assurance

Support monthly Key Performance Indicator analysis for adaptive management

Ensure learning accompanies project activities throughout the project cycle

Support preparation of case studies and documentation of promising practices

Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, Salesforce, Power BI, STATA, and digital data collection

Data analytics programming skills (Python, SQL, R, JavaScript) are advantageous

Job Summary (All Business Coach Positions)
The Business Coach will deliver hands-on enterprise development support to young women and men participants engaged in livestock and agri-related value chains. Using both the REAP Graduation Model and a Market Systems Development approach, the Business Coach will lead in participant targeting and selection, training, business mentorship, grant management, and linkages to markets and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities (All Locations):

Lead participant identification and onboarding using program selection criteria

Deliver structured business training and coaching using REAP model
-
Conduct value chain and market systems analyses to identify opportunities
-
Facilitate linkages with off-takers, processors, traders, and financial institutions
-
Guide participants in business model development and financial planning
-
Take lead in formation, strengthening, and training of VSLAs
-
Monitor effective utilization of Challenge Fund grants
-
Collect high-quality data using digital tools (tablets, Salesforce)
-
Document success stories, lessons learned, and emerging market insights
Qualifications & Requirements (All Locations):

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agribusiness, Agriculture, Economics, or related field
