Below are the detailed job descriptions, requirements, and application guidelines.
1. Engineer (Roads) – 27 Positions
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Nairobi
Field: Engineering / Technical
Job Purpose
To provide technical support in road and highway design, construction, maintenance, safety audits, feasibility studies, and quality assurance in line with the Roads Act.
Key Responsibilities
-
Preparing road and highway preliminary designs and working drawings.
-
Supervising road and structural works.
-
Conducting quality assurance, performance audits, and road safety assessments.
-
Preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents.
-
Participating in feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
-
Collecting and compiling road data for research and scoping.
-
Enforcing axle load limits and assisting in processing abnormal load permits.
-
Supporting PPP project identification and screening.
-
Contributing to development of the Road Asset Management System (RAMS).
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering.

Registered with the Engineers Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.

Proficient in computer applications.
2. ICT Officer II – 2 Positions
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Nairobi
Field: ICT / Computer**
Job Purpose
To support the development, implementation, and review of ICT strategies, systems, policies, and infrastructure for efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting integration and automation of KeNHA ICT systems.

Monitoring performance of ICT systems.

Maintaining applications and the Authority’s website.

Providing end-user support.

Installing and monitoring LAN components.

Managing user accounts and directories.

3. Human Resource Management Officer II

Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Field: Human Resources**
Job Purpose
To support implementation of HR strategies, recruitment, performance management, staff training, compensation, and compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
Key Responsibilities

Verifying staff biodata and processing HR documents.

Drafting memos, letters, and reports.

Managing recruitment, training, and performance records.

Handling leave computation and filing.

Managing outgoing HR correspondence.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Job Purpose
To provide safe and efficient transport services and ensure proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.
Key Responsibilities

Safely driving staff and authorized goods.

Maintaining work tickets and log records.

Conducting routine vehicle checks.

Reporting defects and ensuring cleanliness.

Ensuring valid insurance and compliance with the Traffic Act.

Reporting accidents and following up on police abstracts.
Minimum Requirements

KCSE mean grade D (plain).

Valid driving licence with no endorsements.

First Aid Certificate (St. John, KIHBT, or equivalent).

Suitability Test Certificate for drivers.

Valid Police Clearance.

At least 2 years driving experience.

5. Office Assistant I

Job Purpose
To provide office support services including cleaning, mail delivery, messenger duties, and serving refreshments.
