🧑‍🏫 1. Lecturer in Population Health (Grade 12)

Job Description:

The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training in the field of Population Health and related disciplines. This role involves teaching, curriculum development, research, and student supervision, all under the guidance of senior academic staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Lecturing in specialized areas according to the syllabus.
Developing and reviewing academic programs.
Conducting research and publishing findings.
Supervising students and junior staff.
Participating in conferences, workshops, and community outreach.
Managing research and field trip budgets.

Qualifications:

PhD in Population Health, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
Bachelor’s degree in Population Health.
At least 3 years of teaching or research experience at the university level.
A minimum of 24 publication points, with at least 16 from refereed journals.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Registration with a relevant professional body is an advantage.

🎓 2. Tutorial Fellow in Population Health (Grade 11)

Job Description:

This is an entry-level position for Master’s degree holders pursuing a PhD. The Tutorial Fellow will assist in teaching, research, and student supervision under the mentorship of senior academics.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in teaching and research activities.
Guiding and counseling students.
Supervising undergraduate research projects.
Participating in academic program development.
Administering and assessing examinations.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Population Health or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Population Health.
Registered for a PhD in a relevant specialty.
University teaching experience is an advantage.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Professional registration is desirable.

📘 3. Registrar – Academic and Student Affairs (Grade 15)

Job Description:

The Registrar will oversee academic and student affairs, ensuring the effective implementation of academic policies and the smooth running of academic programs, examinations, and graduation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating academic policies and curriculum development.
Managing examination timetables and processes.
Overseeing graduation and certification.
Providing secretarial support to academic boards.
Supervising academic audits and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

PhD from a recognized institution.
Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from accredited universities.
At least 15 years of work experience, with 4 years at a senior management level.
Proven leadership and staff management skills.
Proficiency in computer applications and ERP systems.
Completion of a management course (minimum 4 weeks).
Membership in a professional body is an advantage.
