About the Role: Work directly with GCR division leaders (Emily Oehlsen and George Rosenfeld) to support existing programs, develop forward-looking strategy, and grow the team’s overall impact.

Ideal Candidate: A broad interest in reducing global catastrophic risks, familiar with areas like AI safety and biosecurity, and ideally has senior-level Chief of Staff or generalist experience.

2. Chief of Staff, Technical AI Safety

About the Role: Partner with Peter Favaloro to accelerate the work of our rapidly growing Technical AI Safety team, focusing on organization, strategy, and stakeholder management. Technical experience is not required.

Ideal Candidate: Excited about technical AI safety, broadly familiar with the ecosystem, and has experience running and scaling high-functioning teams.

About the Role: Work closely with Claire Zabel to get new, agile projects off the ground for a new team focused on scenarios where timelines to transformative AI are short.

🤖 Technical AI Safety Grantmaking Roles (Multiple Levels)
Our Technical AI Safety (TAIS) team funds technical research to reduce catastrophic risks from advanced AI. We are hiring multiple grantmakers at different seniority levels to help us scale our grantmaking, which is expected to exceed $130 million this year.
