Recipients of the RTP Stipend Scholarship will receive:

• AUD $36,000 per annum, paid fortnightly through the university’s payroll system.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the RTP Stipend Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be enrolled (or eligible to enroll) in an accredited Research Higher Degree (RHD) program at CQUniversity.

2. Be a domestic or international student.

3. Not be receiving income from another source that supports general living costs if it exceeds 75% of the RTP stipend rate.

4. Not hold an equivalent Commonwealth scholarship designed to offset tuition fees for a research degree.

Selection Criteria

This is a merit-based scholarship, and candidates will be evaluated using the Scholarship Assessment Scale, which considers the following:

• Academic achievement and writing skills (0–20 points)

• Quality of the proposed research project and its alignment with CQUniversity’s research priority areas (0–15 points)

• Evidence of motivation, prior research experience, and suitability of the research environment (0–15 points)

How to Apply
