Are you passionate about technology, innovation, and global research? The Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) in Japan is offering fully funded scholarships for outstanding international students enrolling in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs in 2025.
Through the Super KUAS-E Scholarship and KUAS-E Scholarship, students can receive tuition waivers, stipends, and admission fee exemptions — making it one of the most attractive scholarships in Japan.
🎓 Types of Scholarships

💡 Note: Tuition includes facility and laboratory fees. A stipend of 600,000 JPY (100,000 JPY/month) will be provided each semester for Super KUAS-E recipients.
🧩 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the KUAS Scholarships, applicants must:
Show outstanding academic performance in their application.
Apply to Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral programs at KUAS.
Indicate their interest in the “Scholarship” section of the TAO application form.

📅 Application & Scholarship Duration
Application Period: During each entry period (check KUAS website for updates)
Scholarship Period:
4 years for Bachelor’s students
2 years for Master’s students
3 years for Doctoral students
Applicants will be notified of both admission and scholarship results simultaneously.
💰 Important Details
Recipients of the Super KUAS-E Scholarship or 100% KUAS-E Scholarship must pay an enrollment deposit, which will be refunded after the semester begins.
Scholarships are reviewed every semester. Poor academic performance or behavior that damages KUAS’s reputation may result in revocation of the scholarship.

External organizations (excluding other universities).
