💰 Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: Kshs. 52,330 – Kshs. 96,130 per month

• House Allowance: Kshs. 35,000

• Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 8,000

• Leave Allowance: Kshs. 6,000 per year

✅ Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must:

• Have at least 3 years of experience as Economist I or Statistician I

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Economics

  • Statistics

  • Economics & Mathematics

  • Economics & Finance

  • Economics & Statistics

  • Or an equivalent from a recognized institution

• Be a member of a professional body

• Have a computer applications certificate

• Demonstrate merit and ability based on past performance

📋 Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting policy briefs and sectoral economic reports

• Preparing annual, mid-term, and end-term reports

• Conducting economic modeling and forecasting

• Tracking Vision 2030 flagship project milestones

• Generating national progress data through surveys and census reports

• Providing technical support to Government, Civil Society, and private sector stakeholders

• Disseminating policies to communities across Kenya
