💰 Salary & Benefits:
Basic Salary: Kshs. 52,330 – Kshs. 96,130 per month
House Allowance: Kshs. 35,000
Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 8,000
Leave Allowance: Kshs. 6,000 per year
✅ Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must:
Have at least 3 years of experience as Economist I or Statistician I
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in:
Economics
Statistics
Economics & Mathematics
Economics & Finance
Economics & Statistics
Or an equivalent from a recognized institution
Be a member of a professional body
Have a computer applications certificate
Demonstrate merit and ability based on past performance
📋 Key Responsibilities:
Drafting policy briefs and sectoral economic reports
Preparing annual, mid-term, and end-term reports
Conducting economic modeling and forecasting
Tracking Vision 2030 flagship project milestones
Generating national progress data through surveys and census reports
Providing technical support to Government, Civil Society, and private sector stakeholders
Disseminating policies to communities across Kenya
